Security Engineer

Scope: The project team will perform the firewall implementation and migration services at South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, India, Philippines and Thailand.

Duration: 15 months
Roles needed: 1 Project Manager and 2 Security Engineer

For Security Engineer

5-8+ years solid networking and/or firewall implementation experience
CCNA/CCSA preferred
Solid Checkpoint IP series firewall hands-on implementation skill
Solid networking technology experience
Solid security technology experience
With experience to perform the firewall design
With experience to perform the firewall migration
Can work under pressure
Can work with remote team to perform tasks
Can work individually to handle project failure issue and troubleshooting to solve the network and firewall failure

Key tasks for the team:

Prepare the detail project plan for the services
Work with Customer to perform firewall infrastructure design and technical clarification
Prepare the implementation plan and migration plan
Discuss and confirm the project schedule, implementation plan and migration plan with Customer
Perform daily firewall security operation tasks under IBM and / or Customer instruction
Work with Customer to prepare and complete the necessary process related to project activities
Configure the network equipment, such as router and switch, if related to the firewall migration
Setup, install and configure at least 40x CheckPoint IP series Firewall
Prepare detail inventory list
Prepare detail configuration report
Prepare test plan for installed equipment
Prepare and submit project documents with Customer instruction
Perform nursing support after installation during the service period
